Protecting the Nation’s Healthcare and Public Health Critical Infrastructure

NH-ISAC is the nationally recognized ISAC for the nation’s healthcare and public health critical infrastructure by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Health Sector Coordinating Council,  the National Council of ISACs, and the organizations that form the health sector.

Advancing security protection, NH-ISAC is the healthcare sector’s communication channel for cybersecurity intelligence, situational awareness, information sharing, incident response, best practice and education,

General threat of increased cyber attack (hacker intrusions, viruses, etc.) activity with no specific threat directed toward the sector. Additional cybersecurity measures may be necessary, and if initiated, should be maintainable for an indefinite period of time with minimum impact.
