Orlando, FL, May 11, 2016 – The National Health Information Sharing and Analysis Center, (NH-ISAC), a member-owned non-profit that is the health and public health sector’s trusted community for sharing cyber and physical security information, announces the launch of CYBERFIT™, a new suite of shared services to promote cyber health. These proprietary services, now available to NH-ISAC members, offer best-in-class cyber security capabilities as well as, shared cyber threat intelligence.

The increase in criminal cyberattacks, such as recent Ransomware attacks on the hospital community, highlights the need for greater cyber preparedness. This includes the need to share threat intelligence data to pre-empt cyberattacks.

NH-ISAC President Denise Anderson stated “Cyberfit™ gives our current members an expanded suite of security services while offering potential members a greater value add for NH-ISAC membership”.

CYBERFIT™ is intended to offer even greater cyber resiliency to NH-ISAC members in conjunction with its already broad array of services. With CYBERFIT™, members can reap the benefits of shared healthcare-specific cybersecurity intelligence, collective purchasing power and the opportunity to augment their own enterprise cybersecurity resources.

The start-up suite of CYBERFIT™ services includes:

  • Legal and Regulatory Surveillance
  • Benchmarking Services
  • Shared Risk Assessment for Third Parties
  • Shared Security Operations Center

Watch for additional services to be announced later this year.

Membership in the NH-ISAC now includes the added value of CYBERFIT™ to advance the cyber FITNESS of all members and BOOST the STAMINA of CURRENT security assets. While it can’t see or stop every threat targeting healthcare members, NH-ISAC proactively upgrades its membership value proposition to counter ever-changing malicious threats across a wide range of cyber vulnerabilities.
